Tips on How to Make Your Portable Display Standout

At a trade show, it is very important to quickly grab the attention of potential clients. This can be a daunting task when your portable display is surrounded by others that are much more expensive. There are a number of things that can be done to increase traffic flow at the booth without spending thousands of dollars.

1. On trade show table top displays and pop up displays, it is important the graphics and photographs are eye catching. People will often make quick judgments about whether or not they want to look at the display based on the pictures and trade show graphics they see. If these are outdated and not relevant, they will move on to the next exhibitor.

2. A well lit display area will be more inviting. Most trade shows are in large conference rooms where there is ample overhead lighting, but nothing that is directly focused on the display. You will certainly standout more by spotlighting your display. You should focus on highlighting important areas or your display with the lighting.

3. Finally, trade show flooring can be added to the trade show display area. This will differ from the basic carpet that you are offered by the show. Not only does trade show flooring dress up the display quite a bit and help things look more put together and professional than other exhibitors but it helps define your booth space area.

4. In addition to your display whether it’s a larger custom exhibit or a smaller pop up trade show display, there should be a focus on brand retention. Not only is the achieved by the way your company represents itself at the show but also through handouts such as brochures, catalogs, and branded promotional items. These types of items are great because it gives the attendee something to remember you by after the show. However, don’t go overboard with this and you should make sure that these handouts are organized in your booth space. You can eliminate clutter caused by these handouts through the use of literature racks, and trade show counters to place these items on or within.

Making a good impression is extremely important at trade shows. With a few simple tips, the basic display can stand out and bring in the customers.
